July 15, 2013 a jury finds Aaron Holmes guilty of possession of firearms after conviction of a felony and he’s sentenced to life in prison.

This is the third felony conviction involving firearms for Holmes.  The other two were for armed robberies in Ottawa County.

As soon as he heard he was sentenced to life Holmes ran from the courtroom trying to escape but a deputy stopped him using a Taser.
