Rogers County  CF-2012-536

A jury finds Vance Wright guilty of 1st degree murder for killing Kelsey Bray.   The jury recommends a sentence of life in prison with the possibility of parole.  A Judge will hand down Wright’s sentence on December 15, 2014.

The evidence shows Kelsey was last seen alive with Wright in the early morning hours of October 9, 2011.  Her body was found 18 days later, 36 feet below the turnpike bridge where a Highway Patrol Trooper saw her with Wright when the trooper stopped to see why the two were there.  Wright had run out of gas.

The jury heard Wright became angry over some drugs, attacked Kelsey and pushed her off the bridge.
