September 11, 2013 Glendora Beisly entered a blind plea* and was sentenced to 35 years in prison for the second degree murder of her husband, John.

Beisly was 48, her husband was 65, in the summer of 2012 when Glendora shot her husband with a rifle then drove to Muskogee to drop her truck and dog off with her sister then went to the Muskogee 911 Center to report the shooting.

Craig County deputies found John’s body in the Beisly’s rural Craig County home.

* A blind plea is when a defendant admits guilt to the judge and the judge decides on sentencing.
