Rogers County  CF-2014-570

A Bixby man is scheduled for a preliminary hearing November 26, 2014 on an animal cruelty charge for leaving a dog locked inside his car while he spent two hours inside a local casino.

Court records show Cory Bain-Holloway is a convicted felon on probation stemming from drug-related convictions.

On August 22, 2014 a Catoosa police officer discovered the trapped animal when he went to investigate a car horn sounding in the casino parking lot.  He found the dog behind the wheel panting and honking.

In the Probable Cause Affidavit Catoosa Police Corporal Greg Faxon reports there were two piles of feces in the car and when questioned about conditions Bain-Holloway told the officer he left a bottle of water in the car.
