Lisa Miksell plead guilty to eight counts of larceny of a controlled dangerous substance.  A judge sentenced her to 20 years on probation, fines and court costs and she must attend alcohol and psychiatric treatment.

The investigation showed while working at the Mayes County Medical Center Miksell replaced some of patient’s morphine with saline solution keeping the drug for herself.

A condition of her probation is that Miksell cannot be a care-giver.
 
Violation of probation will result in a 20 year sentence behind bars.
