The Attorney General issues this consumer alert:

Attorney General Pruitt Issues Immediate Call for Crime Victims to Re-register for Notifications from Pardon and Parole Board

OKLAHOMA CITY – Attorney General Scott Pruitt Friday issued a consumer alert for crime victims to re-register for notices after data in a Pardon and Parole Board notification system was corrupted.

“It is important for victims of crime and their families to stay informed about what’s happening with these violent criminals,” Attorney General Pruitt said. “The Victim Services Unit at the AG’s Office is asking all victims of crime and their families to re-register their information to ensure they are notified of important court and hearing information.”

Due to a recent corruption of data in the board’s victim database, the contact information used to provide victim notifications has been lost. No confidential information has been compromised or stolen.

To continue to receive notifications on board hearings, offender protest deadlines and other information related to the board, please contact the board as well as sign up for VINE, a victim notification system provided by the Attorney General’s Office.

Contact the board by e-mail at boardcommunication@ppb.ok.gov or by calling (405) 602-5863. Protest forms are available at www.ppb.ok.gov under the “Victim” tab.

Sign up for the free Victim Information and Notification Everyday (VINE) system by signing up at www.vinelink.com or by calling toll-free (877) OK4-VINE.

To sign up for notifications through the VINEmobile app Android users can search Google Play with the search term “VINEMobile.” For Apple devices, users can search in the Apple App Store, using the search term “VINEMobile” under “iPhone Apps.”
