Six members of one family spanning four generations will participate in the “Walk a Mile in Her Shoes” event to take steps to fight domestic and sexual violence.   Four of the women are survivors of domestic violence or sexual assault.

District Attorney Matt Ballard, District 12, spoke and introduced the ladies who are members of his team.

Safenet Services in Claremore hosted the annual “Walk a Mile in Her Shoes” event Saturday April 18, 2015. The walk started at Gazebo Park.  People also brought their dogs to to participate in the “Paws for a Cause” portion.

The event also included decorating the survivor tree in Claremore’s Gazebo Park.
