June 7, 2019 a Rogers County Judge handed down a 35 year prison sentence and 41 year old Kua Pao Lor is also ordered to register as a sex offender for the first degree rape of his daughter.
The rape happened in September of 2016 in the family’s Rogers County home.

Assistant District Attorney Zach Cabell explained what the victim disclosed to her older brother and sister immediately following the rape matched exactly what she told the Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner and the forensic interviewer at the Children’s Advocacy Center.

The SANE exam confirmed vaginal trauma and DNA results showed it was Lor who committed the rape.

Rogers County District Attorney Matt Ballard says  “Justice was certainly served in this case.  The Judge clearly recognized the overwhelming evidence and the heinousness of this crime.”

During sentencing Judge Kassie McCoy expressed her sorrow at what the victim had endured and noted rape can cause both physical damage and a lifetime of psychological trauma.

Lor entered a guilty plea in April, asking the Judge to sentence him, just as his jury trial was getting underway.
